The Salesperson will have the opportunity to manage an established territory with customers across a diverse set of industries including Commercial Cooking, Infrared Heating, and Commercial/Industrial Rooftop Heaters.
This position requires an individual capable of working independently and should possess a technical aptitude to quickly become knowledgeable of the company product line.
Maintain relationships with established customer base.
Lead important sales initiatives such as new product launches.
Gather, track, and present competitive market data and market conditions and trends.
Assist customers in resolution of commercial and technical issues.
Identify and recommend new opportunities for application of Maxitrol products with both existing and new customers.
Participate in regular meetings and presentations to company leadership.
Attend national and regional trade shows to promote Maxitrol products.
Work with engineering and research & development departments on the development of new innovations and enhancements of current products.
Educational requirement is a bachelors degree OR associate degree in HVAC, or other related technical field of study, plus two or more years experience.
Some sales experience preferred.
Strong communication skills, written, and verbal.
Willingness to travel as needed to support sales territory.
Should be a self-starter capable of working independently and have excellent time management skills.
Knowledge of HVAC, natural gas industry, and/or other wholesale distribution markets are a plus.
Must have computer skills in MS Office.
Experience using Lotus Notes is a plus.
