It’s a “new” sign with a familiar look on the exterior of the production hall in Thale. This past year, the original Maxitrol logo sign from the facility in Senden, Germany was installed. Passersby will notice the signature Maxitrol blue, illuminating the night for commuters, but may not know the significance of this sign in the history of Maxitrol EU.
Maxitrol entered the European market with the founding of Maxitrol Company GmbH & Co. KG in 1965. Supplying the continent’s need for gas regulators (poppet and straight-thru-flow design) and filters, Maxitrol EU quickly established itself as a leader in the gas appliance market. A new office and production facility, also in Senden, were opened in 1971 to meet the growing demand in Europe, also marking Maxitrol Company’s 25th anniversary.
The closing of the Senden office this past year signified the end of an important chapter in the history of Maxitrol. This sign symbolizes the continuation of the rich legacy of innovation and quality products made in Germany, shining brightly for many years to come at its new home at Maxitrol EU headquarters in Thale.
