The Electrical Intern will aid in design, development and qualification of all Electrical/Electronic control products for Maxitrol Company. This position offers a wide range of experience with Analog and Digital circuit design as well as electro-mechanical sensing and interface. This position will be work in developing product designs, which meet both regulatory standards as well as business cost and market objectives. The position will be based in our Southfield, MI headquarters.
Design, Develop, and Test new products to support both existing and expansion target markets.
Test, analyze, and evaluate components and materials for new products.
Define and establish manufacturing test specifications.
Maintain a working knowledge of all industry standards and specifications that apply to assigned product families.
Effectively communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
Working toward a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Must understand technical principles, theories and concepts in electronic design.
Strong knowledge of debugging tools and techniques.
Familiarity with circuit analysis and simulation tools.
Prefer experience with microprocessor programming utilizing embedded C and Assembly language coding.
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and time management skills.
Must be experienced with using MSOffice.
