The Electrical Engineering Technician will assume design ownership and support of Maxitrol Company electrical products components and assemblies. This position requires a wide range of Engineering experience with electrical components, reviewing and validating that the components meet industry regulatory standards and coordinating with other team members in Purchasing, Engineering and Production that the products/component’s meet the specifications. The position will be based in our Southfield, MI headquarters reporting to the Engineering Supervisor.
Working knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
Design or modify engineering schematics for products using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems.
Set up and operate standard or specialized production and testing equipment.
Assist other departments with technical requirements.
Requires a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician or related technical discipline.
5 years Electrical experience in a Medium or High Volume Production Operation.
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Must have working experience with MSOffice, Altium Designer, or other electronic design software.
Experience with Thru-Hole, Wave Flow, Surface mount, Reflow equipment and other related equipment required.
