Peter Baker recognized for 25 years of service with CSA

At the 2015 CSA Annual Committee Conference, Peter Baker, Maxitrol Company Field Engineer, was awarded the CSA standards development 25-year service award.

Mr. Baker began working in the standards development field in June of 1990. As a member of the CGA (Canadian Gas Association), he initially worked on the harmonization process to develop common standards that are used in both the United States and Canada.

Since 2003, Baker has represented Maxitrol Company as a member of the CSA Parent Committee and as the Chair of the Manual Valve Technical Subcommittee. Mr. Baker is also a member of the Canadian B149 Committee that helps develop the safe installation codes for natural gas and propane appliances. .
